Telegram statistic (for channel or group) is the data of group members or channel subscribers that is provided by Telegram to the property owner and admin by the means of measuring, looking up, and adapting with the channel/group performance to maximize marketing strategies. It could be anything except the data that explicitly have been stated as "private". To obtain those data we must use Telegram messenger in the mobile version as on the desktop version is not available. The first breakdown of indicators that we can capture is how many members joined, were invited, and intentionally left the group/channel in a particular time range. It spanned from the first month to the third, however, you can zoom in or out by shifting the time cursor located below the graphic.

This is a good sign of Telegram to show us whereabout all those members come from (although, it's very limited data to dig deeper). But, yeah it's alright then, anyhow we can look up whether they were originated from Telegram searches or direct link/URLs. What we discuss here about Telegram searches is actually Telegram search engine itself, not Google search engine neither Bing, Yahoo, Amazon etcetera. In Telegram, search engine "works" instantly whenever people are searching for name, username, and cached text messages in the respective user's local storage. Meanwhile URLs sources are coming from direct traffic and an invitation link to a group or channel. People usually find an invitation links after they joined groups and channels that they wish to join to.

From the languages that they're using to interact in a group or on the channel's comment bar, you will know what marketing strategies you will use. Language is mirroring particular geo-location, even a state or province of a country will differentiate its spoken and written languages (case study). This statistic shows us for every activities in the group, whether by admins (human and bots) or by members. These could be reports for member restriction, post editing, content deletion, and member banning. Only admins and group owners can read the records. So, sometimes a member so confuse why they can't send messages again, they've been restricted to be exact, and what they know only a pop up notice that one of the admins in the group has restricted them. A good admin should send an alert or warning to "bad guys" in the group before restrict and ban them due to in many cases they don't know exactly what kind of  the group rules about.

6. Views by hours (UTC)
This monitoring report tells us how many views by total members and admins in a specific time range and how spanning the intervals. Similar with channel's report but in the group report we can't see the "eyes watching" and the reported numbers except we go to check admin's dashboard, meanwhile in a channel we're able to check how many people have seen it (for single and multiple posts).

7. Top days of the week (for being active in a group)
This report indicates at what days in a week your audience are preferred to act actively in a group. From there you can plan how your own contents should be shared and find any possibilities if they like to know you will publish the new posts. Never post an article on inactive days due it will just get fewer readers, unless you pin it as a group announcement (semi-permanent or even permanently, your own post will be taken over the new ones.

It's easy to understand who is the most active in a group for posting and sharing their business (if any) or maybe simply starting general conversations (chit-chat). If you don't want the members to send messages too often, you can use "slow mode", kindly go to group settings and adjust it to allow members in sending messages only in time range of 10 seconds, 30s, 1minute, 5m, 15m, and the maximum limitation is 1 (one) hour.

This report includes bot admins, please check the picture above, the only human is me, that's number 4. Why it could be? Uhmm, oh yeaahh, I like to employ and deploy bots rather than human as administrators due they never complaint me, never asking about salary (because I don't have enough money to do so), and instantly the bots answer all my questions (by sending a command to the bot, represented by sending a slash or / followed by specific arguments) etcetera.

Due to nobody inviting someone else to the group recently, so, this statistic didn't show up. Immediately it displays any person and the numbers if there's joining the group by an invitation.

Is Telegram collecting user data compliant with GDPR, California, Brazil, and other privacy policies and laws? Is Telegram safe to use?

For Telegram, privacy is the most prioritized, and when The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) was implemented in Europe on May 25, 2018, didn't affect too much to Telegram and fewer things needed to be fixed. Telegram doesn't use user's data for advertisement targeting and they didn't sell any data to 3rd parties even though only 1 (one) byte of data (as they claimed)
